Child Health Nurse

Our client is seeking a Child Health Nurse for a temporary position. This is an excellent opportunity to make a direct impact on child health outcomes, working in primary healthcare settings where immunisations and preventative care form the backbone of community health. The role draws on your clinical expertise and experience in child health nursing to support families and children across the lifespan.

• Deliver immunisations and preventative health services in a primary healthcare setting
• Work directly with children and families, building trust and health literacy in the community

Preferred Requirements

• Registered Nurse qualification with current AHPRA registration
• Child Health Nurse Certificate 
• Competence in administering immunisations and managing vaccine safety protocols
• Solid background in primary healthcare (PHC) practice and community health principles
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with diverse families and carers

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent nursing qualification
• Post-graduate qualification or specialisation in Child Health Nursing
• Current immunisation provider certification or willingness to obtain it
