Your responsibilities will include:
- Primary health care nursing in a remote clinic setting
- Chronic disease management & health assessments
- Immunisations and preventative health care
- Triage and acute presentations
- Health education and promotion
- Supporting community wellbeing initiatives
- Working closely with multidisciplinary teams
- Current AHPRA registration (Registered Nurse)
- Primary Health Care / Remote experience
- Immunisation Certificate
- Current CPR & First Aid
- ALS certification (highly regarded / required)
- Manual Driver’s Licence
- Working With Children Check & Police Check
- Ability to work in a remote Aboriginal community setting
- Strong cultural awareness and commitment to culturally safe care
- Work within a respected Aboriginal Health Service
- Gain valuable remote and community health experience
- Make a genuine impact in closing the gap in healthcare
